Hey guys! It’s Madeleine Starsapphire here and it’s time to shamelessly beg for money!
As you all know I’ve been working on a comic titled Moonstruck recently. It’s about a Brazilian-American girl named Luana who finds out that she’s actually the daughter of the moon and was sent to earth to protect her from the council of planets that rule the milky way and how she and her girlfriend Regina deal with this and her becoming a hero. It’s a really fun project that I am super passionate about. I have found an artist (@adamwarlock holla!) who is super into the project but understandably she cannot work for free. All donations to this account will go towards paying her and eventually getting my comic off the ground and either a) into the hands of a publisher or b) self published if I cannot find a publisher.
On a more serious note I suffer from severe Borderline Personality Disorder, Major Depression and General Anxiety. I have been hospitalized many times over my life for my mental illness and recently had to quite my full time job for my own mental health. This project is pretty much the only thing keeping me going right now and having my dreams of seeing it be published one day as a monthly series be realized honestly means more to me than anything else. If all my followers donated $1 I would have more than enough to pay my artist and beyond. Any little amount helps.

I’m working on a comic right now you guys might have seen me talk about it. It’s a superhero comic called Moonstruck about a gay brazillian-american girl who finds out she’s the daughter of the moon and decides to use the powers this gives her to do good in the world. I’m about a little over halfway through with the script for the first issue but my problem is I don’t have an artist. I know this is probably a long shot but if you are or know anyone who can do comic book illustration and might be interested in helping me bring my idea to life please contact me.
